ReVolt welcomes battery industry veterans to boost technical leadership team
McLean has over 22 years of experience at Intel in leadership roles in engineering, process engineering and engineering management. During his tenure, McLean has led teams that insured mission critical functionality of certain process controls required for the scaling of wafer Fab operations. McLean's experience and skill sets are directly transferable to ReVolt's electrode development and scaling requirements. McLean will develop core competencies within ReVolt for the implementation of scalable and transferable processes necessary to produce ReVolt Technology energy storage solutions. McLean has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering from Oregon State University and an MBA from the University of Portland. McLean was also an operations and engineering officer in the US Navy before starting his career at Intel.
Paul Tang has more than 21 years of experience at Energizer where he held several leadership positions in quality management and technology development of zinc-air battery systems. Additionally, Tang has been a consultant and professor, led cross-functional teams and technology development efforts for Energizer and clients in the battery and fuel cell markets. Tang has an M.S. in Chem. Eng. and a PhD in Electrochemical Eng. from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (SFIT); and, an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College.
Both McLean and Tang bring shared skills in leading cross-functional and cross-cultural teams and have prepared many facilities and processes to meet ISO standards.
